Analisis Integratif Nilai Islam Moderat dan Nasionalisme dalam Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter Siswa Madrasah

This review study examines how the values of moderate Islam and nationalism are integrated within Islamic educational institutions, particularly madrasa environments rooted in pesantren culture. The study aims to identify the mechanisms through which these values are embedded in curricular, co-curricular, and cultural activities, as well as to analyze the level of effectiveness of their implementation across different institutions. This research employs a literature review method by analyzing scholarly publications, previous empirical studies, and relevant institutional documents. Data were collected through document analysis and content review, then processed using a descriptive-analytical approach to identify patterns, similarities, and variations. The findings indicate that the integration of moderate Islamic and national values is carried out through religious habituation, exemplary behavior modeled by educators, leadership training programs, and the reinforcement of an inclusive institutional culture that promotes social responsibility and national commitment. The study also reveals variations in the level of success in implementing these values, influenced by leadership quality, program continuity, and the social environment surrounding the institution. The review concludes that value integration becomes more effective when implemented through a comprehensive approach combining formal learning and cultural engagement, supported by synergistic involvement of the madrasa, family, and community. These findings highlight the strategic role of madrasa institutions in nurturing a generation that is religiously grounded, socially moderate, and strongly committed to national identity.
