Penguatan Pemahaman Fikih Siswa melalui Kajian Kitab Fathul Qorib di MTs Roudlotul Muslimin Nganjuk

Abstract

This study aims to explain how studying the Fathul Qorib book can strengthen students' understanding of fiqh at MTs Roudlotul Muslimin Nganjuk. The study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the research location at MTs Roudlotul Muslimin and involves the principal, subject teachers, and students as informants. Data were collected through observation of the learning process, in-depth interviews, and documentation of learning tools. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the study of the book was carried out through a combination of lecture, interpretation, and discussion methods, which enabled students to understand the structure of fiqh texts in a more focused manner. Teachers played a key role as facilitators in bridging language and conceptual difficulties, while students were actively involved through question-and-answer sessions and case discussions. The implementation of the book study had an impact on improving evaluation scores, understanding basic worship and muamalah, and strengthening students' religious attitudes. Supporting factors for learning include teacher competence, learning facilities, and local curriculum support, while obstacles arise from students' varying levels of discipline and academic ability. Overall, the study of the Fathul Qorib book has proven to be an effective strategy for strengthening students' understanding of fiqh and is relevant for application in pesantren-based learning in formal madrasahs.
