Muttashil: Journal of Hadith Studies accepts articles from researchers addressing new and progressive issues in scholarly studies covering all aspects of Hadith and Hadith Studies. As an independent scholarly journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research, Muttashil serves as a platform for disseminating ideas that bridge classical Hadith criticism methodologies with various contemporary multidisciplinary approaches.
Published four times a year, this journal invites academics to contribute original, scientific manuscripts in Indonesian and English that offer novelty for the advancement of Hadith studies in the global era. All published works reflect the authors’ original findings and remain the authors’ sole responsibility, ensuring academic integrity in every publication.
Current Issue
presents five articles that reflect the dynamic development of hadith scholarship in contemporary social, digital, and institutional contexts. This issue underscores a significant shift in hadith studies from a predominantly textual-normative approach toward social reception, and the construction of religious identity in the modern public sphere.
