Muttashil: Journal of Hadith Studies is an open access, peer-reviewed journal published quarterly by Muttashil Academic Press, an independent scholarly publisher committed to advancing academic research in Hadith studies. The journal is published four times a year, in March, June, September, and December, with five research articles in each issue. Muttashil provides an academic platform for critical, contextual, and interdisciplinary research on Hadith as a dynamic tradition of Islamic intellectual inquiry.

Muttashil publishes scholarly articles in English and Indonesian that examine Hadith through diverse methodological and interdisciplinary perspectives. The journal welcomes original research addressing textual studies of Hadith, isnad and matn analysis, Hadith criticism, takhrij and authentication, Hadith hermeneutics, classical and contemporary Hadith studies, living Hadith, digital Hadith studies, and the relationship between Hadith and contemporary social, cultural, ethical, legal, political, and technological issues. The journal also encourages comparative and interdisciplinary research connecting Hadith studies with fields such as Islamic studies, philology, history, anthropology, sociology, communication, digital humanities, and other related disciplines.
