Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Names, email addresses, and other contact information registered in the Muttashil: Journal of Hadith Studies system will be used exclusively for administrative purposes and the operational needs of the journal. The use of this data includes correspondence during the manuscript editing process, the dissemination of information regarding the publication of the latest issue, and technical coordination between authors, editors, and reviewers.

Muttashil is fully committed to maintaining the confidentiality of all users’ personal data and guarantees that such information will not be used for commercial purposes, sold, or distributed to third parties outside the scope of the journal’s publication policies.

This data protection also includes the confidentiality of identities in the Double-Blind Peer Review procedure to ensure objectivity and maintain the academic integrity of the manuscripts under review. We constantly strive to implement data security standards in our OJS system to create a safe, professional, and trustworthy hadith publication ecosystem for the entire global academic community.
